Bonjour! Welcome to the Playlist Inspiration Competition!



Well, this is a fairly simple competition. I've compiled a "playlist" of songs for the inspiration, and it is your task to choose one or several of the songs to draw inspiration from! Create a photo manipulation, write a poem or some prose, take a photo, or create art! All that I ask is that you use your OWN artistic abilities, and if you do create a photo manipulation, to give credit where credit is due. List what song(s) you drew inspiration from with your entry. There will be a public poll for each category, and I will also pick a personal favorite for each. (: I'll also probably create a nifty badge or something. So go out! Create! andddd... Have fun!

Maybe so, but I enjoy challenging creativity, and pushing artists to discover new things. I don't like to make things easy. (: And I don't want tons and tons of entries; I'd settle for two in each category.

2011-06-23 [Linderel]: Prompts are prompts. My prompt-based contests have been popular enough, and I don't see how this really differs from them. :P

2011-06-23 [Triola]: Also, if the contest says "Draw a cat. Any cat." People don't go "ohmigod, this is so unfair, I want to draw a dog!" <.< Contests are usually theme based, and the theme for this one is this playlist. You're even linked directly to all the songs involved, so it's not as if anyone have an unfair advantage in that regard. Honestly. Step up to the challenge, people!
